Who Is Rachael Woosley?
Rachael Woosley is a soul contract practitioner, divine healer, meditation and breathwork facilitator, medical intuitive, ancestral nutrition educator, and cannabis educator. She is also a retired nurse with 21 years in the medical field β which means she has seen every fractured piece of the wellness puzzle from the inside and knows exactly why treating symptoms in isolation does not work.
She pivoted to alternative practice because she needed modalities that actually got to the root. And she built a toolkit to do exactly that.
She is also a no-bullshit Gen X-er who will lovingly but directly call you out. If you need to hear it, she is going to say it.
Problems Are Not Problems. They Are Lessons.
This was the first reframe Rachael offered and it sets the tone for everything she does.
Most people come to her looking at their life like a pile of problems. Trauma. Patterns. Messes. Things that are wrong. And Rachael looks at those exact same things and sees lessons.
That is not a small shift. That is a completely different relationship with your own experience.
She uses the onion analogyβ¦ The point being is you start somewhere. You peel one layer. You see what is underneath. And sometimes what is underneath is something you are not ready to deal with yet β and that is okay too. You get to decide how far you go and when. (Be careful though peeps - onions can make you cry and there might be mold lolβ¦ start with caution haha).
What she does is meet people exactly where they are with that. Some people plow through. Some people need to stop and sit with what they have found. No two journeys look the same.
Soul Contracts β The Most Pivotal Reframe
This is the modality Rachael starts with almost everyone and it is the one that tends to crack things open the most.
Soul contracts are essentially a blueprint β the framework your soul designed before this incarnation to learn specific lessons. And in Western culture we have mostly been taught to see karma as punishment β something bad happening because of something bad you did. Rachael flips that entirely.
Karma is not negative. It is Source giving you exactly what you need to learn what your soul came here to learn. The outcomes can be painful. The situations can be genuinely hard. But the intention behind them is growth β not punishment.
So when you keep attracting the same kind of relationship... it is not because you are broken or cursed. It is because there is something your soul is trying to learn. Maybe it is self-worth. Maybe it is boundaries. Maybe it is how to receive love without losing yourself in it.
When people start seeing their patterns through this lens β when they understand the why underneath the what β everything starts to shift. They stop beating themselves up for making the same choice again and start getting curious about what that choice is trying to show them.
That is the data. And what you do with the data is up to you.
You Are Probably the Beast
The WTF wheel landed on this question: which Disney character needs coaching or therapy first?
And Rachael went straight to the Beast. Not because he is the most obvious answer β but because she had just been reading about how most of us think we are Belle when actually we relate much more to the Beast than we want to admit.
We want to be the heroine. The rags to riches. The one who gets it all together and falls in love and lives happily ever after. But a lot of us are actually the Beast. Hidden. Locked away. Wearing a mask. Keeping people at a distance because somewhere along the way we decided that was safer.
Rachael said she relates to the Beast specifically because of her karmic sevens β masking numbers. She likes to hide. She likes to wear a mask. And she would love to sit with the Beast and unpack all of that.
I jumped in with my own version β how often do I lock myself up? Lock my creativity. Lock my expansion energy. Lock up speaking my needs out loud. Why am I keeping all of that in a dark castle not talking about it anymore?
And then I said the person I would have in my office is Ariel. Because that girl gave up her voice for a man she had never even spoken to. And we need to have a serious conversation about her self-esteem and her standards. Dear Ariel. We need to talk too.
Bring Back the Whimsy. Your Inner Kiddo Is Still In There.
Rachael said something really beautiful here that I want to make sure lands.
When we were kids watching Disney we only saw the good. We never noticed all the problematic stuff happening underneath the surface. We just saw the magic and the adventure and the love story.
And now as adults we watch those same movies and go... wait. What? Did I miss all of that? We see all the bad and forget the good. And she said sometimes in wellness work we need to channel that inner kiddo again. The one who could look at something and just see the wonder in it. The whimsy. The magic.
Rachael is working on bringing more whimsy into her business because she believes that spirit is important. And when she said that the Mary Poppins image jumped into my brain immediately β stepping into the pavement painting. Just jumping in. Becoming part of the world. Letting yourself be fully in it.
Because that whimsical part of us is still in there. It just gets buried under adulting and overthinking and seeing all the things we did not see before. And wellness can be a way back to that. Not ignoring the hard stuff. But also not losing the wonder. Keeping that inner kiddo alive while we do the work.
Honestly we probably should have all headed to Never Never Land so we never had to grow up. But since we did β let's at least keep the whimsy with us. That feels like the balance worth chasing.
Find Your Humans Who Call You On Your Shit
This came up in a really meaningful way during our conversation and I do not want it to get lost.
Rachael made the point that if you do not have people around you who will lovingly call you out β who will notice your patterns when you cannot see them yourself β then we probably need to look at why you keep the people around you that you do.
Are they there because they keep you comfortable? Because they do not challenge you? Because it feels easier to be around people who will not hold up a mirror?
Our souls are not designed to be comfortable. We are here to learn lessons. And iron sharpens iron. If nobody around you is willing to say hey β I notice this happening again β then you are not being refined. You are just being kept comfortable.
Find your humans. The ones who challenge you and hold you and call you out β in that order. That is the foundation before anything else.
I shared my own version of this. The friends I still have in my life are the ones who have always challenged me to grow. Who have called me on my blinders. Who have pushed me to see things differently β and then held me when that was hard to sit with.
Those are the ones worth keeping.
What Wellness Me Up Means to Rachael
Have more conversations. The kind that fill your well.
She used the image of a cracked vessel β leaders and helpers and coaches who are so busy serving others that they are pouring from something that is not just empty but actually shattering. And the only way to fill it back up is to pour into all the dimensions simultaneously β physical, spiritual, emotional, relational β not just one or two.
And conversations do that. Real ones. The kind that make you think of four or five things you want to research or pursue or share with someone the moment you are done.
Wellness Me Up is stepping into someone else's world and coming out the other side with something you could not unsee. And bringing that whimsy with you when you go.
